AITSOADC was therefore initiated in 2006 as a response to the humanitarian crisis resulting from AIDS scourge,absolute poverty, environmental degradation and the need to fight illiteracy among the poor and the orphans.Among it's scope of project, HIV/AIDS care and support which involves home based care,voluntary counseling and testing,out reaches,prevention of mother to child transmission as one of its projects.
